Creating your auction on FOS AUTO is easy – just enter the vehicle information, upload some photos and with a few clicks of your mouse, your auction goes live!
Ready? Set. Sell!
Step 1: Join FOS AUTO by creating an account.
Step 2: Click on the "Sell a Car" tab at the top of the page.
Step 3: Create your auction by providing vehicle details such as make, model, year, body style, trim, etc.
Step 4: Input the VIN number. If you don't know how to locate your VIN, we have a guide for that too.
Step 5: Add a description of the vehicle and check any boxes which may apply, such as cruise control, leather interior, alloy wheels, etc.
Step 6: This is where you set your starting bid and any reserve you may have. Also list the minimum amount bidders must place for increments and set how long you would like your auction to run, either daily or weekly {please note: the minimum auction run time is 4 days or 1 full week). You may also list an auction by end date and time. The "Buy It Now" option is available for sellers who wish to sell their vehicle immediately.
Step 7: Choose how you would like the winner of your action to pay you; cash/check or Pay Pal. You may also inform bidders whether or not you require a deposit once their bid is accepted, as well as any other instructions that are important to your auction.
Step 8: Upload photos of your vehicle.
Step 9: Enter your billing information. Remember: FOS AUTO will only bill your account if your vehicle is sold if you choose not to prepay.
By creating an account, you'll be able to control your auctions and those which require your attention are highlighted. You may accept bids at any time while auctions are active, get full auction details, and edit or delete your auctions by clicking on its title.
